At the young age of seven, after attending a revival service in which the evangelist presented the plan of salvation, I went home and in my bunk-bed personally asked Jesus to come into my heart and forgive my sins. He did! (PTL) Soon after, I was baptized.

- Salvation Testimony:
While spending part of the summer with my sister in Nettleton, AR, my nephews and I attended Bible School at Nettleton First Baptist Church. At the last service, Bro. Herrington gave the plan of salvation and the invitation. There was no doubt in my mind, at that time or now, that I was being called to come and accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I was 9 years old; I went to the front with several other children and prayed the prayer of salvation.
